Map sources

The maps in BlueHunt are built on open geodata. The sources and their licences are listed here.

Map data from Lantmäteriet, the Swedish mapping authority, is processed by BlueHunt (reprojection and tiling) so that it can be shown in the app.

Hybrid map – summer and spring

Product
Ortofoto Nedladdning, Markhöjdmodell Nedladdning, Fastighetsindelning © Lantmäteriet
Aerial photos
2024-07-20 (summer), 2022-04-17 (spring)
Licence
CC BY 4.0
Processing
Processed by BlueHunt: hillshade, contour lines and calculated watercourses are added to the aerial photo. The watercourses are BlueHunt's own calculation from the elevation model – not Lantmäteriet's data – and show where water flows, not always where a watercourse exists. Property boundaries come from Lantmäteriet's property division.
Coverage
Available over selected teams' hunting grounds; elsewhere the ordinary aerial photo is shown.

Lantmäteriet does not endorse BlueHunt and has not reviewed the service.

What the calculations are based on

Wildlife collisions

Source

(the source's own words, quoted without translation)
Processing
Positions, times and species names are normalised for display on the map.
Used for
Statistics on when during the day and year different game species move, per county. Not shown as a map layer, and individual collisions are not shown to teams. We only read public statistics — nothing about your team or your land is sent to NVR or the police.
